A Gift of Sound
A valued and respected member of Calistoga Christian Center Church – Filipe is active in church and community activities.
Filipe is also almost totally deaf in one ear. As a result, it is very difficult for him to hear speech and distinguish sounds that normally hearing persons tend to take for granted.
On Sunday, September 16, 2007 – Pastor Tom Burgos of Calistoga Christian Center Church was honored to present Filipe with a new hearing aid, to help him better hear and understand the world of sounds around him.
